  • Beauty Delegates from Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua and Panama will all be vying for the coveted title of Miss Costa Maya International on Friday, August 3rd.
  • The current title holder for the crown is Belize’s very own Michelle Estrella Nuñez
  • Master of ceremonies for the 3 Night event will be Daedra Haylock and Eiden Salazar Jr.
  • This year’s festival will see a diverse line up of music and cultural groups and individuals including: Grupo Crash from El Salvador, Belize’s very own Chico Ramos, Sweet Pain band, Ballet Folklorico De Quintana Roo, Charikanari Dance Group of San Pedro, Belize and Grupo Crash from El Salvador, Youth Connection Band, Garifuna Collective, Tagg International and Ernestine Carballo.
  • Saturday’s International music headliner will be reggaeton sensation and female rapper Ivy Queen.

Throughout the festival, local and regional musical groups will represent their cultural heritage with performances featuring Punta, Reggae, Soca, Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue and traditional Maya sounds. This year’s festival will be held inside the Hon. Louis Sylvester Sporting Complex, formerly ‘the Sacachispas football field’ on Ambergris Caye.
