Airport Hotel Transfers
Our well known, Captain Ray will personally pick our guests up in the Banyan Bay Limo upon your arrival at the San Pedro Airstrip. If the Limo should be in heavy use, we will provide taxi service to our hotel (about a 5 minute drive from the San Pedro airport free of charge.
Transportation on the Island
Golf Carts are the main means of transportation around the island by both locals and our guests.  We suggest that you make reservations in advance and to request a GAS cart for dependability.   You may request a cart at the front desk upon arrival and it will be delivered to the hotel.  Carts are available on Hourly, Half-Day, Full Day and Weekly rates.  Rates are available upon request.  Taxis are reasonable and bicycle rentals are also available.
Phone and Internet Service
We have a full service internet station with high speed internet service and several computers available in our lobby for a minimal charge. Local and Long Distance phone service is provided in each room. The internet service is quite reasonable and efficient.
Baby Sitting Service
Banyan Bay is a family oriented hotel with lots of kids here all the time.  We have a group of trusted people with years of experience in taking care of our guests' children.  They can even come during the day and play with them at the pool or beach while you enjoy a morning or afternoon of snorkeling, diving, fishing etc.
Children’s Area Wading Pool
Our pool is perfect for young children with a large wading and play area. Children spend the whole day in our pool.  The deep end is perfect for soaking and playing with your older kids.  We also serve drinks and food poolside.
Our Beaches
With over a thousand feet of beach front, our beaches at Banyan Bay are known as the best beach on the island. We have water sports activities on one area of the beach and we have another section of the beach a little more private for the person who is looking for peace and tranquility.  It is a wonderful beach for the kids and we even have a salt water wading and snorkeling area for children.
Beach Volleyball

We have a fully maintained professional beach sand court for family or group volley ball games on the beach, game ball provided free of charge to our guests.

We encourage play with the locals who consider volley ball to be one on their favorite beach side activities.
Room Amenities
All our units are TWO BEDROOM available with a queen size bed in the master and either a double or twins in the guest bedroom. Perfect for family or two couples! PLEASE REQUEST YOUR SLEEPING REQUIREMENTS TO MEET YOUR INDIVIDUAL NEEDS.
  • Full Kitchen
All units are equipped with a kitchen and your needs to cook and entertain, including dishes, pots, pans, utensils, blender, coffee maker, microwave, stove, refrigerator and oven.   We have a service that can even stock your kitchen with essential food items and that case of chilled beer in the fridge when you arrive.
  • Jacuzzi Tubs
All units have a Jacuzzi Tub in the master bath for your complete comfort and relaxation after a long hard day on the reef!
  • Television
Each unit has a television in the living room.  You will get over 30 channels including HBO, STARZ, CINEMAX, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX NEWS, DISNEY, CARTOON CHANNEL and many more.   This way you wont have to miss that sports event or special show that you wanted to watch.
  • Air Conditioning
All units are equipped with central air and ceiling fans so that you will sleep in comfort after a hard day at play!

  • Room Service
Our Restaurant, Rico’s on the beach can do anything from, “Breakfast in Bed” to a full romantic dinner on your balcony.  We will also cook up your catch of the day.  Rico’s is famous for its Lobster, Crab, and Conch when in season.

Massage
We have a full staff of in house certified Massage Therapists.  We have a range of massages techniques and people to choose from.  There is nothing quite like a massage on the beach!
Exercise Facility and Tennis Courts  (Available off sight)
Our guests can use the San Pedro Fitness Center just 5 minutes away from the hotel, for very reasonable rates and the facility is close by. Equipped with a full array of exercise equipment, weights, trainers, yoga and pilates classes. You don't have to miss your daily work outs. There are two, brand new tennis courts as well.  
Full Maid and Laundry Service
Our maids are known for their charming personalities and pleasing manners.  Your room will be made up everyday.   Dry cleaning is not available on the island but for your casual clothes our maids can pick up your laundry and have it back in your room by that evening.
Drinking Water
Unlike Mexico, our tap water is potable in the rooms.  It is desalinated  water, perfectly safe.  Restaurants use purified water for drinking and ice.
